The Town of Pleasant Garden offers a baseball/softball program in the spring and fall  every year.  This is the same program previously managed by P.G. Center Inc. Players between the ages of 3-16 as of the last day of the season are eligible to participate.  The registration fee varies depending on the age of the player (see listing below).

As of the 2018 spring season, the program is officially sanctioned by Little League and will operate in compliance with their rules and requirements.  We  have partnered with the Level Cross, New Market and Sumner programs to form the Cross Roads League to provide better opportunities for competitive play and All-Star participation.  The Pleasant Garden Community Center located at 5024 Alliance Church Road will serve as the "home field" for participants in the Pleasant Garden program.  Depending on the number of Pleasant Garden teams, there may be some "away" games at the other locations. 
    
Due to Little League regulations, all players must provide proof of residency and proof of age at the time of registration.  An explanation of requirements and list of acceptable documents can be viewed

     Spring 2018 Baseball/Softball Season    

  • Registration opens on January 29, 2018 and closes on February 28, 2018.  Dates for Saturday onsite registration are 9:00AM - 2:00PM on February 17 and 24 at Town Hall, 4920 Alliance Church Road.

  • Age 3:  $45 per player (includes T-shirt & hat)

  • Ages 4-6:  $65 per player (includes T-shirt & hat)

  • Ages 7-16:  $85 per player (includes jersey & hat)

  • Softball Registration Form

  • Ages 7-16:  $85 per player (includes jersey & socks)

  • Opening Day:    Saturday, April 14, 2018

  • Closing Day:    Saturday, June 2, 2018

  • Minimum of 15 players, maximum of 20 players

  • Games will be played on Saturdays with the first game on April 7

  • Registration fee of $350/team to be paid to the Town of Pleasant Garden by the team captain

  • Each team will determine the cost of individual player's registration fee based on number of players on the team. Players pay this fee to the team captain.

  • No uniforms will be provided by the town.

  • National Softball Association slow-pitch playing rules will be used.
